The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked FSU's (6-7) road victory over 7th ranked Sindri (1-13) 82-62 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by FSU. Sindri was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Sindri 51-31 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. FSU will face league's second-placed Hottur in Egilsstadir in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sindri will play on the road against Snaefell (#8) in Stykkisholmur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
