Dream Ballers (1-1) recorded a loss in Belize City. Visitors were defeated by Hurricanes (1-0) 69-62. International guard Glency Lopez (-97) stepped up and scored 21 points and 4 assists for the winners and international guard Devin Daly (195-94, college: L.Superior) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side international guard Daniel Conorque (193-91, college: Pima CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Macario Augustine scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hurricanes will play against Tigersharks in San Pedro in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dream Ballers will play on the road against Red Bandits in Belmopan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
