An interesting game for COR-Borisfen (15-2) which hosted in Mogilev 4th placed Tsmoki II (8-8). Second ranked COR-Borisfen had an easy win 97-56. The game without a history. COR-Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tsmoki II to just 6 points in second quarter. COR-Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki II's 26. COR-Borisfen forced 25 Tsmoki II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Tsmoki II's players. It was a good game for the former international guard Siarhei Tatur (194-91) who led his team to a victory with 8 points and 8 assists. American guard Brian Starr (190-96, college: Towson) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. Starr is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Vadim Stubeda (204) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Vladislav Shvakel (180) added 4 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tsmoki II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. COR-Borisfen have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain second place with 15-2 record having just two point less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. COR-Borisfen are looking forward to face bottom-ranked RCOP Tsmoki (#10) in Minsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tsmoki II will play on the road against Prinemanye (#9) in Grodno and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
