We should mention about the upset which took place in Kolobrzeg, where higher ranked Pogon Prudnik (8-10) lost to fifteenth ranked Kotwica (6-12) in a road game 81-87. Kotwica players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Jakub Zalewski (184-86) supported him with 15 points and 7 assists. Kotwica's coach Dawid Mieczkowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 25 points by the former international Marcin Sroka (201-81, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for Pogon Prudnik. Guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kotwica moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with AZS AGH KR. Pogon Prudnik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost.
