Regular Season Round 18: L'Hospitalet - Alicante 49-64

LEB Silver top team - HLA Alicante (14-4) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eleventh ranked L'Hospitalet (6-12) 64-49. HLA Alicante forced 30 L'Hospitalet turnovers. Strangely L'Hospitalet outrebounded HLA Alicante 52-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Ignacio Diaz (200-87) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four HLA Alicante players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Ivan Garcia (206-86) who recorded 8 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Joan Creus (185-92) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. L'Hospitalet's coach Jose Manuel Hoya rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. HLA Alicante maintains first position in Silver with 14-4 record. L'Hospitalet at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. HLA Alicante's next round opponent will be Vic (#12) at home which should be an easy win for them. L'Hospitalet will play against Moron in Morón de la Frontera and hope to win that game.
