Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Salou (7-7) beat on the road 12th ranked Castellbisbal (3-11) 67-58 on Saturday. American forward CJ Barksdale (203-92, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and point guard Marc Olle (179-93) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Aleix Camprubi (193-87) responded with 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Adria Camprubi (193-87) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Salou moved-up to eighth place in Group C-A, which they share with Boet. Castellbisbal lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Salou will face league's leader Tarragona at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Castellbisbal will play against Martorell (#7) and hope to win that game.
