Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Cordobasket (8-6) was defeated on the road by leader Algeciras (14-0) 90-72 on Saturday. Algeciras made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Algeciras outrebounded Cordobasket 41-24 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Andrew Kelly (201-91, college: Alaska-Fairb.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Canadian guard Jabs Newby (188-91, college: Gannon) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds.
