Regular Season Round 17: Culleredo - Naron 75-54

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Culleredo as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A-B. Culleredo smashed 10th ranked Naron at home 75-54. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Naron. Culleredo players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Naron's players. American guard Michael Scarlett (193-95, college: Claremont-Mudd) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Bahamas forward Winslo Barry (208-90, college: Incarnate Word) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Naron in the defeat. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 4 other teams. Naron at the other side stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. They share the position with Carbajosa and Un.Oviedo. Naron will play next round against Estudiantes L. trying to get back on the winning streak. Culleredo will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Betanzos at home.
