Very predictable result when ninth ranked Scauri (8-8) beat on the road 14th ranked Pozzuoli (4-13) 79-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Argentinian power forward Guillermo Laguzzi (204-82) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) chipped in 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Naturalized Senegalese center Iba Koite Thiam (204-98) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Matias Di Marco (179-84, agency: Players Group) added 7 points and 11 assists respectively for the hosts.
