No shocking result in a game in Corugate where fourth ranked Moncalieri (12-4) defeated 10th ranked Carugate (6-10) 57-53 on Saturday. Ilenia Cordola (183-96) fired 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Arianna Landi (178-96, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 6 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Moncalieri's coach Paolo Terzolo used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Giulia Maffenini (175-92, agency: Two Points) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Cecilia Albano (183-96) added 7 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Moncalieri maintains fourth position in A2 with 12-4 record. Loser Carugate keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Moncalieri will face league's second-placed Costa Masnaga at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Carugate will play against Milano (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
