No shocking result in a game when second ranked Mollet (11-3) won against on the road 5th ranked Castelldefels (7-7) 69-63 on Sunday. Point guard Bernat Alvarez (176-95) stepped up and scored 14 points for the winners and forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Eric Manes (194-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Marc Sune (-96) scored 4 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mollet maintains second place in Group C-B with 11-3 record having just three points less than leader Algeciras. Loser Castelldefels keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Mollet will face Vive El Masnou (#14) in Barcelona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Castelldefels will play on the road against Alfinden (#10) in Zaragoza and hope to win that game.
