Undefeated leader Djurgarden recorded the fifteenth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Helsingborg (7-8) 96-76 in Stockholm. The game was mostly controlled by Djurgarden. Helsingborg managed to win fourth quarter 33-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian Filip Bogdanovic (-99) chipped in 10 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Djurgarden's coach Charles Barton used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Danish forward Mads Rasmussen (198-88) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Casper Silfver (190-95) scored 11 points. Five Djurgarden and four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Djurgarden. They maintain first place with 15-0 record. Newly promoted Helsingborg dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Djurgarden will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Helsingborg will play against Hogsbo (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
