There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Battipaglia (0-17) was crushed on the road by thirteenth ranked Palermo GB (5-12) 89-54 on Sunday. Palermo GB dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Battipaglia's 20. They outrebounded Battipaglia 37-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. Palermo GB looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Battipaglia's players.
