Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Nassau: Shockers (#5) and Pros (#8). Pros were defeated at home 110-120 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Shockers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Pros' 38. Shockers forced 31 Pros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Adam Johnson fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. William Rigby chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Shockers' coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Colton Albury produced a double-double by scoring 53 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and guard Stephan Burrows (186-92, college: Lee) added 13 points and 12 assists respectively for lost side. Five Shockers and four Pros players scored in double figures. Shockers maintains fifth position with 4-5 record. Loser Pros dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost. They share the position with Defenders. Shockers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Regulators.
