Very expected game in Kotka where 10th ranked Ura Basket (6-16) was crushed by third ranked KTP-Basket (14-8) 88-68 on Tuesday. The game without a history. KTP-Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ura Basket to just 7 points in second quarter. KTP-Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Ura Basket's 36. KTP-Basket forced 19 Ura Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. KTP-Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Kevin Langford (203-85, college: TCU) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Michael Pounds (189-88) chipped in 17 points.
