Seventh-ranked Echague (5-15) was very close to win a game against third ranked Union SF (12-9) in Santa Fe. Union SF managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88. However their fans expected much easier game. Union SF dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Echague's 18. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Echague helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was power forward Alejandro Zilli (201-82) who had a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
