We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Starogard Gdanski where eighth ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (10-8) defeated 7th ranked Polpharma (9-8) 105-99. Polpharma was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. American forward Cleveland Melvin (203-91, college: DePaul) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Legia. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against Start (#9) in Lublin in the next round. Polpharma will play on the road against the league's leader Stelmet Enea BC in Zielona Gora and hopes to get back on the winning track.
