An interesting game for Tokyo Excel. (21-1) which hosted in Tokyo 4th ranked Aisin AW (13-9). First ranked Tokyo Excel. managed to get a 6-point victory 79-73. Tokyo Excel. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Tokyo Excel.'s coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) added 13 points in the effort for Aisin AW. Tokyo Excel. have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Aisin AW lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
