No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Sluc Nancy (11-5) beat on the road 9th ranked Nantes (7-8) 79-68 on Friday. Sluc Nancy forced 20 Nantes turnovers. It was a very good performance for American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. American-Venezuelan point guard John Cox (195-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Sluc Nancy's coach Christian Monschau used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and Ivorian swingman Vafessa Fofana (198-92) added 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Nantes. Four Nantes players scored in double figures. Sluc Nancy have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Orleans and Vichy Clermont. Nantes at the other side dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost.
