There was no surprise when 11th ranked Roma Athena (5-12) was outleveled on the road by seventh ranked San Salvatore (10-7) 79-52 on Saturday. San Salvatore outrebounded Roma Athena 50-38 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Croatian forward Karmen Cicic (183-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. The former international guard Cinzia Arioli (178-84, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists for the winners. Five San Salvatore players scored in double figures.
