Regular Season Round 28: Tokyo Excel. - Aisin AW 76-64

An interesting game for Tokyo Excel. (21-1) which hosted in Tokyo 4th ranked Aisin AW (13-9). First ranked Tokyo Excel. managed to get a 12-point victory 76-64. Tokyo Excel. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 21 rebounds and the other American import forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who added 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 blocks during the contest. Tokyo Excel.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Tokyo Excel. have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Aisin AW lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
