Regular Season Round 18: Chantada - Rosalia 71-58

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Rosalia (3-11) was defeated on the road by third ranked Chantada (10-4) 71-58 on Saturday. Chantada dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Rosalia's 20. They outrebounded Rosalia 43-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Filip Knezevic (205-94) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 21 rebounds. Point guard Adria Baiget (190-89) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Pablo Posse (202-89) who recorded 9 points and 6 rebounds and guard Eloy Poza (187-0) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Chantada keeps a position of Group A-B leader, which they share with Culleredo and Ponferrada CDP. Loser Rosalia keeps the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Chantada will face Agustinos-Leclerc (#14) in Leon in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rosalia will play at home against PBB and hope to win that game.
