Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (10-8) defeated at home 10th ranked Strasbourg (8-10) 86-81 on Saturday. Pau-Lacq-Orthez forced 24 Strasbourg turnovers. Power forward Thibault Daval-Braquet (210-97) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Florian Pouaveyoun (203-99) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Quentin Goulmy (206-98) with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Quentin Klingelschmitt (208-0) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field).
