Regular Season Round 20: Prat - Huesca 56-83

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Magia Huesca (13-7) outplayed on the road bottom-ranked CB Prat (3-17) 83-56 on Saturday. Magia Huesca looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by Estonian center Rauno Nurger (208-93, college: Wichita St.) who scored that evening 21 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Belgian-American guard Tyler Haws (193-91, college: BYU) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by Pep Ortega (201-84) did not help to save the game for CB Prat. Forward Joel Parra (202-0) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Magia Huesca moved-up to second place, which they share with Oviedo and RETAbet BB. CB Prat lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Magia Huesca will meet at home RETAbet BB (#4) in the next round. CB Prat will play against Leyma Basquet (#14) in Coruna and hope to secure a win.
