There was no surprise in Ulcijn where 8th ranked S.Centar (2-7) was crushed by second ranked Ulcinj (7-3) 90-64 on Saturday. Ulcinj forced 25 S.Centar turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Ulcinj especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Petar Kusovac (195-93, college: S.Centar) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Bryce Jones (183-94, college: Murray St.) helped adding 20 points and 6 assists. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Ulcinj players scored in double figures. Center Aleksandar Kartalovic (213-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and international Milic Starovlah (196-98, agency: Interperformances) scored 20 points and 4 assists. S.Centar's coach Stefan Klikovac gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Ulcinj. They maintain second place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Lovcen, which they share with Sutjeska. Loser S.Centar keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Ulcinj will meet Sutjeska (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. S.Centar will play against Ibar Rozaje (#4) and hope to secure a win.
