Ninth-ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (8-11) gave a tough game to first ranked Navarra (13-6) in Avila. The visitors from Pamplona managed to secure only three-point victory 59-56. However their fans expected much easier game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Inaki Narros (196-81) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Rodrigo Gomez (205-96) accounted for 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Swingman Guillermo Mulero (191-97) came up with 13 points and forward Manuel Vazquez (199-98) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Fontedoso Carrefour in the defeat. Navarra maintains first place in Silver with 13-6 record. Fontedoso Carrefour at the other side keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Navarra will play against Tormes (#12) in Salamanca in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Fontedoso Carrefour will play on the road against Azpeitia ISB and hopes to get back on the winning track.
