The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourteenth ranked Chalon/Saor's (8-10) home victory over 15th ranked Le Portel (6-12) 92-70 on Saturday. American guard Brandyn Curry (187-91, college: Harvard, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 20 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-86, college: Elizabeth City) added 14 points in the effort for Le Portel. Chalon/Saor moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Le Mans. Loser Le Portel keeps the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Chalon/Saor will face higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
