Regular Season Round 34: Kagawa FA - Aomori Watts 83-96

There was a minor upset in Takamatsu where their close opponent Kagawa FA (7-26) was defeated by sixth ranked Aomori Watts (8-26) 96-83 on Saturday. Aomori Watts forced 23 Kagawa FA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Cullen Russo (206-94, college: Fresno St.) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian power forward Julius Jucikas (205-89, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 24 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aomori Watts maintains sixth position with 8-26 record which they share with defeated Kagawa FA. Kagawa FA lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 26 games lost. Aomori Watts will have a break next round.
