The most exciting game of round 15 in the Serie A1 took place in Lucca. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Vigarano (6-9) to seventh ranked Lucca (8-7) 64-62 on Sunday evening. Lucca outrebounded Vigarano 49-29 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American power forward Bashaara Graves (188-94, college: Tennessee) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. American guard Breanna Bolden (180-95, college: Charleston, agency: LBM Management) answered with 23 points and the other American import guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-95, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) added 15 points in the effort for Vigarano. Lucca moved-up to sixth place, which they share with San Martino. Vigarano at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sesto SG. Lucca is looking forward to face higher ranked Ragusa (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vigarano will play against Battipaglia (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
