Regular Season Round 16: MuKi - Raiders Basket 79-97

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Helsinki where fifth ranked Raiders Basket (10-5) won against one of their biggest challengers MuKi (10-6) 97-79 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Raiders Basket. MuKi was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Raiders Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. MuKi was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jordan Jacks (196-94, college: Ky Wesleyan) fired a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import forward Derylton Hill (196-94, college: Ark.-Monticello) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Emil Uotila (198-0) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Tuomo Antikainen (188-99) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. MuKi's coach gave the chance to play for ten players seeing no chance for a win. Raiders Basket moved-up to fourth place in Division. Loser MuKi dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Raiders Basket will face league's leader Tapiolan Honka at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. MuKi will play against Espoo Basket (#11) and hope to win that game.
