Leader Niigata Albirex delivered the twenty fifth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (9-26) 78-73. The best player for the winners was American Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward Lamont Hamilton (208-84, college: St.John's) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
