The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Slask as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Slask smashed 16th ranked SKK Siedlce in Wroclaw 121-79. Slask dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SKK Siedlce's 32. They outrebounded SKK Siedlce 49-32 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Slask's coach Radoslaw Hyzy felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Michal Sadlo (205-94) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. SKK Siedlce lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. SKK Siedlce will play next round against GKS Tychy trying to get back on the winning streak. Slask will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked Ksiezak Lowicz at home.
