An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sendai. Third ranked Dragonflies faced second-ranked Sendai 89ers. Guests from Hiroshima (25-10) defeated host Sendai 89ers (23-12) 84-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sendai 89ers. The game was dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Terrell Miller Jr. (203-95, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) accounted for 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) and forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) added 27 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Sendai 89ers in the defeat. Dragonflies keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Sendai 89ers at the other side keep the second place with 12 games lost. Dragonflies' next round opponent will be Orange Vikings (#4) in Matsuyama. Sendai 89ers will play on the road against Aomori Watts and hope to win that game.
