Very predictable result when third ranked Fabriano (12-5) won against at home 11th ranked Corato (7-10) 80-63 on Sunday. It was a good game for guard Nicolo Gatti (196-91) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 4 steals. Naturalized French center Sylvere Bryan (208-81, college: Tampa, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Fabriano's coach Alessandro Fantozzi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Leonardo Marini (205-95) replied with 16 points and naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) added 14 points in the effort for Corato. Fabriano maintains third position in B with 12-5 record having five points less than leader Deco Caserta. Newly promoted Corato keeps the eleventh place with ten games lost. Fabriano will face Porto S.Elpidio (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Corato will play against Nardo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
