No shocking result in a game when third ranked Padova (13-6) beat on the road 12th ranked Reggio Emilia (7-12) 74-67 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Reggio Emilia 38-26 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for power forward Giacomo Filippini (204-91) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Guard Matteo Motta (194-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Daniele Mastrangelo (189-91) answered with 20 points and forward Tommaso Gatto (199-96, agency: Players Group) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Reggio Emilia. Four Reggio Emilia players scored in double figures. Padova have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Faenza.
