An interesting game was played in Verona where A.Costa IM (#8) won against host Tezenis VER (#5) 104-97 on Wednesday evening. At the losing side the former international point guard Andrea Amato (190-94) responded with 31 points and 9 assists and the former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five A.Costa IM and four Tezenis VER players scored in double figures. A.Costa IM maintains eighth place in A2 with 9-10 record. Loser Tezenis VER keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. A.Costa IM will meet at home Pompea MNV (#9) in the next round. Tezenis VER will play against UCC Piacenza (#11) in Casalpusterlengo and hope to secure a win.
