Rather expected game when 15th ranked Catania Alfa (3-16) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Palermo GB (6-13) 73-66 on Wednesday. Palermo GB dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Catania Alfa's 24. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Serbian David Paunovic (198-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Marco Giancarli (179-95) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Palermo GB players scored in double figures.
