Very important is a road loss of second ranked Faenza (13-6) against seventh ranked Juvi Cremona (11-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting Faenza was defeated by Juvi Cremona in Cremona 76-66. Faenza was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Marco Bona (187-89, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds. Giovanni Veronesi (194-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Point guard Mattia Venucci (188-90) answered with 25 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and point guard Carlo Fumagalli (188-96) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Faenza. Juvi Cremona moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with San Vendemiano and Vicenza. Loser Faenza keeps the second position with six games lost. Juvi Cremona will face Ozzano (#11) in Ozzano dell Emilia in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Faenza will play at home against San Vendemiano (#8) and hope to win that game.
