Regular Season Round 16: Bullets - Kings 93-95

Important game to mention about took place in Brisbane. Third ranked Kings (16-9) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Bullets (12-13) 95-93 on Friday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian-American point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 assists and the former international swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: BeoBasket) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Kings' coach Andrew Gaze allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Cameron Bairstow (206-90, college: N.Mexico) scored 22 points. Four Bullets players scored in double figures. Kings moved-up to second place, which they share with Wildcats. Bullets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Hawks. Kings will play against league's leader United in Melbourne in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bullets will play at home against Illawarra Hawks (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
