Very expected game in Sinj where 9th ranked Alkar (5-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Cedevita (9-5) 96-79. It looked good early as Alkar took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Cedevita had a 22-13 second period charge getting the lead and Alkar was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 79-96. Cedevita players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists. The former international point guard Jakov Vladovic (187-83) notched 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Toni Vitali (203-91) supported him with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by American guard Josh Brown (190-94, college: Temple) did not help to save the game for Alkar. Forward Gabrijel Maric (202-99) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Four Cedevita and five Alkar players scored in double figures. Alkar's coach Srdjan Helbich rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 9-5 record. Alkar lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Sibenik and Gorica.
