Everything could happen in Tokyo at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Haneda Vickies and 9th ranked Aishin Wings had identical 6-12 record. This time Haneda Vickies used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Anjo 80-52 on Saturday night. Haneda Vickies dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin Wings' 28. They outrebounded Aishin Wings 50-35 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Okuda Hana (174-94) who led her team to a victory scoring 9 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. International guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) helped adding 17 points. Four Haneda Vickies players scored in double figures. At the losing side Kiho Miyashita (179-98) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Aishin Wings' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Haneda Vickies. They moved-up to ninth place. Loser Aishin Wings dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. Haneda Vickies will again meet at home Aishin Wings (#10) in the next round. Aishin Wings will have a break next round.
