The most exciting game of round 16 in the A2 took place in Athens. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Amyntas Dafnis (9-7) to sixth ranked Diagoras D. (9-7) 80-78 in the game for the fourth place. Four Amyntas Dafnis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Diagoras D. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Amyntas Dafnis. Diagoras D. is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Ethnikos (#16) in Pireus in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Amyntas Dafnis will play at home against Ermis Agias (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
