An interesting game was played in Slupsk where host STK Czarni (#7) rolled over 4th placed Polonia Leszno with 21-point difference 88-67 on Saturday evening. STK Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Polonia Leszno's players. Point guard Wojciech Jakubiak (188-96) stepped up and scored 25 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) chipped in 4 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists. STK Czarni's coach Mantas Cesnauskis felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was the former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) with 17 points and center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. STK Czarni (12-9) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with WKK Wroclaw. Loser Polonia Leszno keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. STK Czarni will meet higher ranked Enea Astoria (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Polonia Leszno will play against SKK Siedlce and hope to secure a win.
