Regular Season Round 21: Biofarm PZN - Sokol Lancut 84-78

The game between second ranked Sokol Lancut (15-7) and eleventh ranked Biofarm PZN (10-11) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Sokol Lancut was defeated by Biofarm PZN in a tough game in Poznan 78-84. Biofarm PZN looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Mikolaj Kurpisz (202-98) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Marcin Flieger (185-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 14 points and 9 assists. Four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Pawel Blechacz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) who recorded 25 points and point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Biofarm PZN moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Pogon Prudnik and Pruszkow. Sokol Lancut at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Biofarm PZN is looking forward to face Polfarmex (#12) in Kutno in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play at home against Kotwica (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
