There was no surprise in Thessaloniki where 11th ranked Panionios (3-13) was crushed by ninth ranked Aris (6-10) 79-56. Aris forced 22 Panionios turnovers and had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Panionios helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by international point guard Eleftherios Bochoridis (193-94) who scored that evening 15 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Michale Kyser (208-91, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: ISE) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
