No shocking result in a game when third ranked Ermis Agias (12-4) beat 11th ranked Evropi (6-10) in Larissa 79-71 on Saturday. Ermis Agias looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Nestoras Kommatos (203-77) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Theodoros Tsiloulis (190-93) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Power forward Savvas Manousos (208-85) replied with 28 points and forward Danis Eleftheriadis (197-89) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Evropi. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ermis Agias have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Ionikos Nikaias. Evropi lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth place with ten games lost. Ermis Agias will face Amyntas Dafnis (#7) in Athens in the next round. Evropi will play at home against Charilaos TM (#6) and hope to win that game.
