Thirteenth-ranked San Martino (6-13) made lots of trouble for first ranked Alpo VF (16-3) in San Martino di L on Saturday. The visitors from Verona managed to secure only three-point victory 84-81. However their fans expected much easier game. Alpo VF outrebounded San Martino 39-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Elena Ramo (185-94) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Arianna Zampieri (183-88) chipped in 22 points.
