The most shocking disappointment of round 21 in the LEB Gold was a home defeat of 3rd placed Magia Huesca (13-8) to fourth ranked RETAbet BB (14-7) 74-61 in the game for the second place. RETAbet BB outrebounded Magia Huesca 49-28 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Ivan Cruz-Uceda (208-91, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (208-94) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four RETAbet BB players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was FYR Macedonian forward Stojan Gjuroski (203-91, college: Louisiana Tech) with 16 points and Belgian-American guard Tyler Haws (193-91, college: BYU) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RETAbet BB moved-up to second place. Magia Huesca at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
