We should mention about the upset which took place in Pistoia, where higher ranked San Salvatore (11-8) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Pistoia (6-13) 88-63 on Saturday. Pistoia made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Pistoia outrebounded San Salvatore 38-25 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was power forward Serena Bona (181-89, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Bosnian power forward Natasa Tomasovic (185-93) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Pistoia's coach Stefano Tommei felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
