There was no surprise when 9th ranked Lucenec (2-21) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Handlova (9-14) 97-80 on Saturday. Handlova shot 62.7 percent from the field and made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Handlova outrebounded Lucenec 33-21 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Handlova especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage.
